As a Strategic Intervention, Presentation Skills, and Leadership Coach, Anne-Marie Duchêne, CHP, CMT-P developed curriculum and led advanced mindfulness leadership coaching programs for top IT executives and management teams for Oracle University and Microsoft in Silicon Valley, CA when mindfulness was not a trendy topic.
Today, at Art of Alignment Academy, she has designed her own Creative Leadership Coaching Program™ that focuses on the fundamentals of self-awareness and creative communication. She offers mindfulness coaching to individuals, couples and large groups.
Informed by her own training as a dancer and athlete, Anne-Marie’s focus is to offer tangible tools and programs to support the renewal of health through holistic means merging scientific and somatic pathways.
Her ongoing goal is to empower her clients to make profound and lasting decisions that transform their lives through a close examination of personal habits and wellness goals. Educating from the viewpoint that the body IS the inherent healer and that psycho-emotive states influence pain levels manifested in the body, her work focuses on an integrative model designed to treat the person, not just the disease. Since 2017, Anne-Marie has taught a weekly Mindfulness Meditation class at her Manhattan office as a bridge to identify and assist her clients in resolving physical pain.
Anne-Marie was Cirque du Soleil’s first “Dance Specialist” artistic talent scout where she auditioned thousands of artists in all artistic backgrounds for Cirque’s nineteen shows. A devout somatic movement student, she explores the realms of intuitive movement for healing purposes, Feldenkreis, Alexander Technique, and has studied with Qigong Master, Robert Peng.
At the Broadway Dance Center in New York City, Anne-Marie was Director for the International Scholarship Program and was responsible for the development and growth of the artistic curriculum.
