Broken Heart Syndrome Takotsubo Cardiomyopathy

Do you know that your heart could “shapeshift” its typical architecture in response to stressful events?

It turns out, the term “broken heart” is not just a mere figure of speech.

This is called Takotsubo Cardiomyopathy, also known as “Brokenheart Syndrome”.
