The Duchêne Method^SM Mind-Body Alignment Program is an immersive experience for people ready to expand their self-awareness, connect with their bodies, and start living in alignment with themselves and the world around them.

Duchêne (Du-chêne) means “of the oak tree”.

The Duchêne Method^SM Mind-Body Alignment Program is inspired by this tree’s far-reaching rooting system, connecting and cultivating a community that boasts the depth and sophistication of the oak tree’s structure.

Over a period of four months, Anne-Marie Duchêne—Master Embodiment Coach and Certified Hellerwork Structural Integration practitioner— will guide you through modules designed to teach you exactly what mind-body alignment is, and how it can help you:

You’ll join Anne-Marie Duchêne and fellow students for weekly two-hour live classes where you’ll discuss program materials and learn a balance of holistic and scientific approaches to embodiment techniques and practices.

Students will also have the opportunity to participate in up to three additional hours of weekly support sessions led by trained coaches in The Duchêne Method^SM.

Mind-Body Alignment Program

Wed, Sep 6th, 2023 – Wed, Dec 20th, 2023

A four-month immersion program where you will learn directly from
Anne-Marie Duchêne and her coaches.

Each week, students will receive a curriculum video on the program dashboard and will have the opportunity to submit questions to be answered during weekly two-hour live classes with Anne-Marie.

Live classes are held every Wednesday on Zoom from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm EST.
All live classes will be recorded and available to you throughout the duration of the program ONLY to honor everyone’s privacy during the live sessions.

These are additional labs for you to join with one of The Duchêne Method^SM coaches every week (French/English bilingual options and time slots for individuals in different time zones will be available).

These interactive labs are designed to help you practice the skills that you are learning each week, ask questions, and support your colleagues.

In addition to the online curriculum, you will have the opportunity to connect and engage with your fellow classmates in a private Facebook group, where you can share your experiences and ask questions in the safety of an understanding and supportive community.

Mind-Body Alignment Program In-Person Monastery Retreat

Thurs, Aug 24th, 2023 – Sun, Aug 27th, 2023

An additional component for those interested in experiencing an in-person embodiment retreat. Experience three nights and four days in a peaceful monastic environment that encourages silence and personal contemplation.

Taking place at the beautiful Monastère des Augustines in charming Québec City, Canada, this retreat is on a first-come, first-serve basis as limited space is reserved.

This in-person event is held at a monastery that requests that silence be practiced during your stay when in public areas and outside of classrooms.

Most meals will be served in the main hall in silence.

During your retreat, you will be invited to join in gentle movement classes, meditation sessions, lectures with expert guest teachers from a range of holistic and scientific fields, group discussions, and time to connect with your cohort.

You will experience Talking Circles, a First Nation pedagogy-in-action for intentional and mindful communication that provides a model for transformative experiences.

The circle format encourages active listening, empathy, and respect for diverse perspectives, creating a safe and respectful space that cultivates a sense of community and shared learning.

Anne-Marie Duchêne

Anne-Marie Duchêne, CHP, CMT-P is the founder of Art of Alignment Academy and The Duchêne Method^SM Mind-Body Alignment Program.

Anne-Marie Duchêne has been in private practice since 2007. Her particularity as an embodiment teacher is based on 35 years of experience in the dance, somatic movement therapy, and martial arts worlds.

She integrates her education as a cultural anthropologist, Cirque du Soleil artistic talent scout and corporate Presentation and Communication Coach for Oracle University and Microsoft.

Anne-Marie spent eight years studying the human body in dissection laboratories as she acquired her certification in Hellerwork Structural Integration, visceral, and manual osteopathy.

Informed by her rich background in spiritual and intellectual exploration, Anne-Marie founded Art of Alignment Academy to bring her unique approach, The Duchêne Method^SM, to leaders around the world.

Sabi Appadu

Mauritius-born Sabi is a certified Duchêne Method^SM coach, musician, vocalist, and meditation teacher, who holds double Master’s degrees in Language Sciences with a specialization in Ethnomusicology. She teaches from a healing space of open-heartedness. Her pedagogical approach favors creativity and collaboration with her students.

Charles-Alexis Desgagnés

Charles-Alexis Desgagnés is an autodidact, multidisciplinary creator, Duchêne Method^SM coach, dancer, and performer. A queer artist known for his unparalleled creativity and drive, he is the founder of Les sans-papiers, an innovative contemporary dance company based in Montreal.

Janelle Hacault

Janelle Hacault is a Filipina/French Canadian graduate from the University of Winnipeg and School of Contemporary Dancers. She is a certified Duchêne Method^SM coach and a sought-after embodiment educator. A trained actor, Janelle has traveled worldwide with Les 7 Doigts de la Main and has competed as a soloist on Québec’s largest TV dance competition, Révolution.

Mai Lê Hô

Mai Lê is an internationally known French-Vietnamese street dance artist, and founder of LayeRhythm Productions Inc. She has been reviewed in The New York Times, holds an MBA, and is a certified Duchêne Method^SM coach. Mai Lê brings a wealth of artistic experience, mind-body health training, and business acumen to our program.

Henry (Ry’El) Velandia

Venezuelan born, Henry Velandia, is an international artist, Council member of the American Lambada Organization, and the creator of ZenZouk. Henry is a certified Duchêne Method^SM coach and an Egoscue Method Postural Alignment Specialist. His trained eye promotes a unique experience among learners using body, mind, and emotional connection.

The most important requirement for this program is an open mind, a kind heart, and a willingness to learn. We ask that you attend at least one live coaching lab per week.
If you cannot make every live Wednesday class with Anne-Marie, don’t worry. You’ll be able to review the recording on your program dashboard.

You are invited to go at your own pace with the curriculum and can always ask questions if you get stuck.

Yes! While the majority of the program will be conducted in English, one of the weekly one-hour lab sessions will be held in both English and French to accommodate French speakers.

All of them! Students can join all (up to three one-hour) support sessions each week, meaning you can access up to five hours of coaching per week: two hours with Anne-Marie, and up to three hours with a coach trained in The Duchêne Method℠.

No. All materials necessary for full participation in the program (videos, worksheets, and prompts) will be available in the program dashboard.

Yes! If students wish, payment for The Duchêne Method^SM Program can be made in two installments of $2,247 USD.

This payment plan is also available for students enrolling in The Premium Duchêne Method^SM Program. However, payment for the retreat portion ($2,000 USD) will be added to the first installment of the payment plan.

Yes! All live session recordings will be made available within 24 hours of their recording and will remain available on the program dashboard for the remainder of the program.

The Premium Duchêne Method^SM Mind-Body Alignment Program is an intensive retreat engagement requiring students to have the time, dedication, and right intentions during their participation.

An application process is used to monitor registrations and ensure that students are fully briefed on expectations of the optional retreat portion of the program.

Full refunds are available until July 21st, 2023. No refunds will be honored after July 21st, 2023.
